 Terms of Service for Torque App

1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Torque App ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service
Torque App provides automotive mechanics and enthusiasts with a tool to save vehicle project data, scan VINs/barcodes, and utilize Artificial Intelligence (Google Gemini API) to look up automotive torque specifications.

3. Assumption of Risk and Disclaimer of Warranties
**CRITICAL AI DISCLAIMER: THE DATA PROVIDED BY THIS APP IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. YOU USE THIS APP AT YOUR OWN RISK.**

* **AI Inaccuracies:** The torque specifications generated by the App are produced by an AI language model (Google Gemini). AI systems can "hallucinate" or provide factually incorrect information.
* **Verification Required:** You must *always* verify any torque specification or mechanical instruction provided by the App against an official OEM service manual, manufacturer documentation, or professional repair database before applying torque to an automotive component.
* **"As-Is" Service:** The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular automotive repair purpose.

4. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the developer, owner, or affiliates of the Torque App be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the App.

This includes, but is not limited to:
*   Stripped, broken, or sheared bolts, fasteners, or threads.
*   Cracked or damaged automotive components.
*   Loss of life, personal injury, or vehicle accidents resulting from improperly torqued parts.
*   Financial losses, repair costs, or loss of vehicle use.

5. User Responsibilities
*   You are responsible for safely operating your device while in an automotive garage or shop environment.
*   You agree not to use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
*   You are responsible for the security of the data stored locally on your device.

6. Modifications to the App
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the App or any service to which it connects, with or without notice and without liability to you.

7. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer resides, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
